Café redevelopment works start at Guernsey Airport
17th June 2019Preparation work is set to get underway at Guernsey Airport from today (17th June) to redevelop the two café outlets into Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen.
The upgrade works on the airside and landside food and beverage outlets are due to be completed by the end of July 2019. This project will deliver a new and expanded menu range and considerable improvements to the dining experience for customers.
Passengers and terminal users will notice a change in café provision in the coming days.
Both cafes landside and airside will be open as normal on Monday 17th June.
From Tuesday 18th June, the landside upstairs café will be closed as contractors for Caterleisure (Guernsey) Limited will start work.
The landside temporary food and drink outlet will be open from Wednesday 19th June. The unit will have cold drinks, coffee & tea, cold snacks, sandwiches, crisps, and grab and go confectionary items for sale.
During this time, arrangements for the airside café in departures will remain the same and will remain open for passengers, airport staff, and business partners.
Alcoholic drinks will not be available whilst the improvement works are taking place at the landside facility due to local licensing restrictions. The airside café will still have range of drinks for sale.
Guernsey Airport apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause.
