International Women's Day 2021 - Lisa Duggan

Lisa Duggan is our Deputy Capital Works Manager. The Capital Works team is just one of the diverse range of teams working at Guernsey Ports.
Lisa says: “Professionally, Guernsey Ports has empowered female members of staff to achieve their potential regardless of role. The Ports encourages a just culture in all aspects of our organisation, and this is fundamental in how we develop and organise our staff and services which provide critical lifeline links for the Bailiwick.”
“During my career I have noticed that, with persistence and determination, attitudes towards women have changed for the better, which is a trend I hope to see continue. My experiences will continue to help me to achieve my potential.”
“Women should be encouraged to take up the roles and careers that have traditionally been held by proportionally more men than women. across both the Aviation and Maritime sectors. We should not need an International Women’s Day to highlight the work we do, and the contribution of women should be acknowledged every day.”
