Refurbishment works starts on Airside café this weekend
21st June 2019Work to upgrade the airside café at Guernsey Airport will begin this Sunday (23rd June) as contractors for Caterleisure (Guernsey) Limited are set to start full refurbishment work.
The work will involve taking away the existing shop frontage and installing new kitchen facilities and equipment. Access to the airside WH Smith store will be maintained.
The project is part of investment to redevelop Guernsey Airport’s two food and beverage units in the terminal building and rebrand them as Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen.
Temporary catering units both airside and landside will have cold drinks, coffee & tea, cold snacks, sandwiches, crisps, and grab and go confectionary items for sale from Sunday whilst the work is being carried out over the next three to four weeks.
When complete, both the airside and landslide Bailiwick Bar and Kitchen outlets will have enhanced dining facilities, new kitchens, and food preparation equipment. This will enable an expanded food and drink menu range and choice at Guernsey Airport.
Guernsey Airport apologises for any inconvenience caused whilst the work is taking place.
