Could you be an Airport Firefighter/Groundsperson at Alderney Airport?
14th August 2019Are you a self-motivated and diligent person who is keen to develop while working in a team-focussed environment?
Alderney Airport is looking for an Airport firefighter/groundsperson to provide fire cover, rescue services and first aid, in accordance with CAA and ICAO guidance and regulations. You will also assist in carrying out a range of other operational and specialist duties within the airport perimeter including the maintenance of the airfield and airport buildings.
You will need to not only have a flexible approach to work hours, as you will work to a rota system, but will also be required to attend training courses on and off island on a regular basis. Furthermore, given the nature of the role there will be an expectation for you maintain a good level of fitness. Ideally, you will hold a Cat C license, although this is not a pre-requisite to apply.
